John Winston Abbey, was riding his velomobile (bicycle) early Tuesday, July 13th, 2021, when he was struck by a drunk driver. He left this world at 56 years old leaving behind his mother Luise Abbey, sister Aleece Dawson,  nephew Michael Bradd and other extended family. One of John's greatest passions was riding his velomobile and getting others involved in the bike riding community.
