Phyllis… sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother….and friend to many.  Phyllis unselfishly cared for children, so many children.  Related by blood or not, Phyllis took them into her home and into her heart.  Using her talents of cooking, sewing, and crochet, Phyllis made gifts for family, friends, and even strangers.  Phyllis’ banana bread was a favorite treat during Christmas.  Her quilted blankets creative and cherished gifts.  Phyllis also sewed blankets given to nursing homes.  Phyllis crocheted blankets, small and large, that many hold as keepsakes.  Phyllis shared what she had, and enriched the lives of those she knew.  Phyllis is remembered by many.
