Timothy Alexander Thompson

October 04, 1960 - January 09, 2022

Timothy Alexander Thompson, just 61 years old was called home unexpectedly on Jan 9, 2022.  The family is deeply saddened by his sudden death.  Timothy’s life began on October 4, 1960.  He attended Carlmont High School and Foothill College and lived in East Palo before moving to Fresno, Ca, in 1999.

At the age of four, Timothy accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior and was baptized.  He was passionate about his love for God and was called to preach in his early 20’s. Timothy worked hard for the County of San Mateo until became disabled.  Timothy’s kindness, humor, and friendly nature touched everyone who knew him.  He was truly a peacemaker and was always a source of positivity.

He joins in Heaven his father Clem Thompson who preceded him in death.  He is survived by his mother, Lena Thompson, his children, Lloyd Alexander Thompson, Tramel Marcus Thompson, and Kamilah Jenice Thompson, his brother Steven Thompson, sisters, Patrice Thompson and Robbie Thompson, his grandchildren, Ethan Thompson, Zack Scruggs, niece, Ashley Reed, nephews, Brandon Reed and Shawn Thompson, special friend, Liz Carter, extended family, and an abundance of friends.

We will all miss him more than words can say, but Timmy would tell us, “Do not let your hearts be troubled.  You believe in God; believe also in me.  My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” John 14 1-3.

Rest in peace, dad, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to all!

Timothy's homegoing will be held virtually on Saturday, Feb 5th from 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm (PST).   Details forthcoming.

Pamela Bush Timothy, as first cousins and living States apart, it was always exciting when Uncle Clem, Aunt Pearl and my cousins came to Texas. At the time, you’re just kids having fun enjoying playing together. Many years later, you realize those times together were Heaven sent and to be treasured always. 5 years ago, My sister, Alice and I had the pleasure of attending Uncle Clems memorial. This allowed us time to get reacquainted with Timothy and the rest of the family. Timothy, I will treasure that time, until we meet again. With Love, Pamela

Michael Grant I'm deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my long time friend Tim. We were team mates in track & field in both High School and College. Tim was a kind and caring man with a true heart. I send heart felt condolences to the entire family.
