Armida, also known as Nana Bravo and Shorty, earned her Wings to Heaven on Thursday, April 7, 2022. She was born on a Thursday and died on a Thursday, her favorite day of the week. She was a beautiful woman who loved her family, grandchildren, and her roses. Her bright smile, comforting hugs and infinite love provided precious memories for all. She believed in the miracle and prayed to the Virgen de Guadalupe. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe E. Bravo, and her children, Joseph, Vivian and James. She is survived by Edna (Anthony) Granillo and John (Therese) Bravo and 27 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to your favorite children’s charity in her memory.

 

Services will be held on Saturday, May 14th, at Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Parish, located at 507 W 29th St, with Rosary beginning at 8:30am, followed by Mass at 9:00am. A Celebration of Life Picnic will take place the same day beginning at 11:30am at Morris K Udall Park.
