Morin, Colleen Mary (O’Brien) age 80, of St Michael passed away June 24th from Congestive Heart Failure after 4 months in home hospice, where she was surrounded and cared for by her loving family.

Colleen was beautiful, charming and just fun to be around. She loved her family and friends, flowers, big band music, playing the organ, mahjong, musicals, and QVC.

Colleen was set up on a blind date and met John Morin, a navy man. They married soon after in April of 1964. They had 4 daughters together and lived in the Philippines, and Virginia, only settling back to Corcoran, Minnesota after John’s retirement from the navy in 1978.

Colleen raised her children and worked in customer service. She and John enjoyed retirement years in Mission TX, Maple Plain, Rogers and St. Michael.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Laurence and Mary (Sexton) O'Brien; brother, Tim O'Brien; parents-in-law, Lawrence and Louise (Bernier) Morin; brother-in-law, Donald Morin; sister-in-law, Bev O’Brien; son-in-law, Jerry Jenson, and nephew, James Morin.
