With great sadness, our beloved Anthony-Joseph has passed away, he now lives somewhere over the rainbow, looking down at us.
Anthony Joseph Bechtold aka 'Tony' was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1950 to Evelyn-Marie and James Bechtold. He had two brothers , James and Stephen Bechtold.
In his youth he studied Catholicism, by the demands of his parents and attended Catholic School. He graduated High School in 1970 and shortly after married Barbara, his high school sweetheart. They separated after 10 years of marriage. Anthony lived in Los Angeles, California with his children until relocating back to Philadelphia in 1993. He worked as a union public transportation driver for SEPTA for 20 years. After retirement he moved to Las Vegas and enjoyed walks with his dog, Nancy and spending time with his 3 children. He also enjoyed road trips across the country and the occasional fine cigar.
Anthony-Joseph was a life-long fan of the Rolling Stones , he was a philanthropist for children with cancer, endangered wildlife and preserving our National Parks.
Anthony Joseph is survived by his Daughter , Roxanne-Madeline, Ryan-Anthony and his youngest son Patrick-Andrew. He is deeply missed and his children are devastated by his untimely passing.
Anthony's Celebration of Life Memorial is being organized by his daughter , Roxanne-Madeline and details will be announced shortly.
