Marvin R. Kyllonen, 84 years old, resident of Tucson AZ, formerly of Schaumburg IL, passed away peacefully.
Beloved husband of the late Carol M. Kyllonen. He is survived by his children Deb (Rich) Becker, Pat Quick, Joan (Frank) Korinek and Rob (Nora) Kyllonen; and his cherished grandchildren, Stephanie (Devon) Van Beek, Kyle Korinek, Elizabeth (Edgar) Quick-Corral, Abby Quick and Kevin Becker. Also loved and cared for by Arlette Camacho.
Marvin was born in Brockett, North Dakota, and moved to Chicago where he married Carol Kyllonen and had four children. Marvin worked many years for Western Electric/Bell Labs and was an early user of computers, continuing to program into his eighties. After Carol’s passing, he enjoyed his retirement living in St. Petersburg, Florida, Las Vegas, Nevada, Clearwater, Florida, Fremont, California, and Sacramento, California. Finally in Tucson, Arizona, where he lived with Robert and Nora Kyllonen who lovingly cared for him.
A chapel service will be held at St. Michael The Archangel Cemetery (1185 W. Algonquin Rd.) Palatine, IL on November 23rd at 11:00 am. Interment will follow where he will be buried next to his wife Carol Kyllonen.
