Constance (Connie) Claire Headrick

January 23, 1936 - December 19, 2022

Constance Claire Headrick, January 23, 1936 - December 19, 2022

Connie Headrick pasted away peacefully at her home in Cloverdale with her loving family by her side on December 19, 2022.  Connie was born on January 23, 1936, to Albert and Elsie Long.  She was raised in Oakland with her older sister Marty and spent the summers on the Russian River at the family cabin.

Connie had a passion for life that led her many places.  She loved art and became an art teacher at Truckee High School.  She worked for the US Army as an Activities Director and traveled extensively throughout the world prior to moving to the Russian River and starting a family.

She shared her passion for life and love of travel with her family and love unconditionally.  Connie knew how to have fun and believed kindness mattered.  She continued to travel far and near with her family including her daughter and granddaughters in the recent years.  Some of her favorite places included the ocean, Puerto Vallarta, and Tahiti.

She loved her family and spent many hours watching her granddaughters’ sporting events, dance recitals, and cheer competitions.  She loved to spend time with them and was blessed to be able to.

Connie’s positive attitude and passion for life will be truly missed by all.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, sister, and ex-husband Leslie Headrick.  She is survived by her daughter Kathleen Bunting; granddaughters, Kailee and Gracie Bunting; and stepchildren and their children, Mark Headrick (Cassi & Holly), Mitch Headrick, Tresa Headrick, Diana Bordessa (Lauren & Aaron) and Sue Headrick.

A Memorial Service will be held on January 7, 2023, 11:00 am at Parkside Christian Chapel, 553 W 2nd Street, Cloverdale, with a Celebration of Life to follow at the Druids Hall of Cloverdale.  Please wear bright colors in honor of Connie.
