February 09, 1929 - January 14, 2023

     On January 14, 2023, Sister Everline {Doty} Newsome was called home. She was Ninety- three. Born to Lunk Doty and Cesarea {McKeel} Doty in Cherokee County Texas on February 9, 1929. 
     She was a loving and dedicated wife and mother to Troy “PeeWee” Newsome and Marie Diane Reece. She adored her family very much and was a loving grandmother and great grandmother.
     Everline was an active member at The Apostolic Faith Temple in Tucson Arizona. It was there that she was baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost under Elder Albert L. Malone on January 17, 1982.
     Everline was loving, caring and protective. Her laugh would light up the room. She would always make sure to take care of those in need. She showed kindness to those who were lost and taught her family to do the same. 
     Everline is preceded in death by her husband Troy Newsome, parents Lunk and Cesarea Doty, brothers Elder Marvin Doty, Cleophis Doty, Bennie Ray Session, sisters Eura “Faye” Jinks, and Zella Dixon.
     Everline is survived by her brother Charles (Hazel) Doty and sister Pearline Newsome of Jacksonville Texas. Her daughter Marie Diane Reece, grandson Marquez S. Reece, granddaughter Christina C. Reece and four great grandchildren; Cieana M. Reece, Isaiah K. Reece, Laila B. Reece, and Elijah T. Reece all of Tucson Arizona
