Elizabeth Prieto

July 02, 1969 - June 21, 2023

It is with a heavy heart that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved, Elizabeth Prieto. She passed away in Fair Oaks, CA on June 21, 2023 at the young age of 53.

Elizabeth was born in Inglewood, CA on July 2, 1969 to Ramon Prieto and Virginia R. Prieto.  For a brief time during her childhood she lived in El Paso, Texas then relocated to San Fernando Valley, CA with her family where she resided until her late 30s. She then relocated to the Sacramento area to be closer to family and soon after, made many new friends. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and great aunt.

Elizabeth spent most of her career working in the accounting field for various well-known companies. She was naturally a great organizer who was very detail oriented both professionally and personally.  She very much enjoyed shopping, fashion, decorating, planning family gatherings for holidays and milestones, and sipping wine with her friends. She was very kind, compassionate, and nurturing.  Although she did not have children, she dedicated her life to loving and spoiling her nieces and nephews as her own. Her main love was her fur baby, Puff who she loved and cared for with deep and unconditional love for the past 14 years. He was the center of her world.  She also spent the past recent years caring for her father at her home. They were able to create some wonderful memories during their years living together.

Elizabeth radiated love and light.  Her life was a gift and she will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her Father: Ramon; Siblings: Laura (Eddy), Ramon, Monica (Richard);  Nieces and Nephews: Vanessa, Richard, Michael, Samantha (Jeremy), Jaylin, Emma; Great Nephew: William; Stepmother: Paloma; Half-Siblings: Veronica, Alfredo, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

She was predeceased by her beloved Mother, Virginia R. Prieto.

An intimate Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
