Barbara was a vibrant, compassionate and loving woman, who was happily married to her husband Richard for 49 years.  She was a mother of three.  She was accomplished in so many fields, being a professional dancer, an Olympic level competitor in track and field, a teacher, an artist and metalsmith, a business owner and web designer.  She received a degree from the Cordon Bleu in Paris and her doctorate from the University of Michigan.  She was loved by all who knew her, she touched the lives of many people in a loving and giving way.  She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
