Eva Bolanos

October 28, 1948 - January 06, 2021

Eva Judy Bolanos, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, January 6th, 2021 after a short battle with Covid-19. She was born in Tucson, Arizona on October 28, 1948. Eva married Omar Bolanos on May 30, 1987, where they shared a beautiful life together living in Tucson Arizona, Tustin California and Alajuela Costa Rica.

Eva, a social butterfly, was known for her friendly and engaging personality. Her beautiful smile and love of flashy attire and bling would light up any room. Her humble nature allowed her the ability to connect with people on a profound and personal level. She enjoyed music, parties, dancing, picnics, spending time with friends at the casino, and supporting a good cause. Eva enjoyed living in Costa Rica and said she felt like her time there humbled her. She embraced the friendly and loving Costa Rican culture and enjoyed spending time with her dear friends Nena and Carlos. The Costa Rican residents ALWAYS had open arms for Eva and Omar.

Eva will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband: Omar Bolanos; children: Michael Macias (and his partner Tonya Alford), David Miranda, Nikki Miranda, Lizbeth Bolanos; grandchildren: Alexis Miranda, Ashley Miranda, Latisha Dedeaux; great grandchildren: Savannah, Zari, and Amari; sister: Norma L Willard (and her husband Erland L Malmgren); nieces: Kelly Pinon (and her husband Richard Pinon), Maria Machado, Yolanda Machado, Laura Sargent; nephews: John David Martinez (and his wife Deborah Martinez), Kalani Machado, Stan Machado Jr., Eric Sargent, Robert Sargent, Philip Sargent; former spouse: Felipe Miranda. Eva was preceded in death by her Father: John Romero; Mother: Esther Romero; and siblings: Rex, Tom, Lani, Antoinette and Stanley.

Because of the pandemic, a memorial service will be held on a later date when it is safe to gather and celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in her honor.
