Cherri was also cherished by her mother, Mary Muellerleile, and her brothers, Al (Natalya), Dale (Elly), Mark (Margret Swanson), David (Martina), Bruce, Dean, Jon (Elizabeth) and Jim, and brother-in-law, Connell Saltzman (Laurie). She was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews, Katarina, Daniel Saltzman (Marina), Susan Adair (Kerry), Kira Shultz (John), Zachary Saltzman (Jessica), Peter, Elise, Julia (Marvin Weigand), Dominik, Zachary, Jacob, and Nick (Makeeba Helms). Cherri's educational journey began at John Ireland Catholic School and continued at St. Peter High School. She furthered her education at Southwest Minnesota State University, focusing on theater performance.

Throughout her career, Cherri wore many hats and excelled in various fields. She was a talented radio producer, actor, and singer. Cherri's creativity extended to interior design, where she showcased her unique style and passion. However, her most significant accomplishment was as the founder of the Autism Resource Network (ARN). Over 23 years, Cherri built ARN from a kitchen table idea to an international resource for families and professionals working with children and adults on the autism spectrum. Dedicating her time and expertise to the autism community, Cherri earned several awards and commendations for her invaluable contributions.

In memory of Cherri,  in lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations be made to Fraser Schools (https://www.fraser.org/donate). Your support will help continue Cherri's legacy of advocating for individuals with autism. Cherri received extraordinary, loving care from Emerald Crest Memory Care of Shakopee and Grace Hospice.

Private family services will be held at the Church of St. Peter in St. Peter, Minnesota. Shiva service will be held on November 5, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Temple Israel, 2323 Fremont Ave S., Minneapolis, MN.
