Kenneth Alan McGowan, also known as Ken, was born on June 22, 1947, in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. He resided in Sacramento, CA, at the time of his passing. Ken was a loving father, proud grandfather, and doting great grandfather.


Ken's proudest accomplishments revolved around his family. He adored his three grandkids, Dylan Olson, Michael Glisson, and Mykayla Glisson, as well as his three great grandchildren. He cherished the time spent with them and took immense pride in their achievements.


Aside from his family, Ken had a zest for life. He loved to travel, explore new places, and create lasting memories with his friends. His innate ability to tell captivating stories made him the life of every gathering.


Ken's dedication to serving his country was evident through his time in the US Navy. He held a deep respect for his fellow servicemen and women and understood the importance of sacrifice.


Ken is survived by his brother Colin McGowan, daughter Stacy Glisson, and the aforementioned grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His warm presence, loving nature, and unforgettable stories will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
