Anne Theresa McNichol passed away peacefully on March 27, 2021, with her loving family by her side. Born on February 16, 1923, she is the daughter to the late Buckley Charles Jarvis and Anna Theresa Ciurgotowska of Philadelphia PA.  Anne is the beloved sister to the late Charles Jarvis (Frances) and Patricia Kirk. She is the
sister-in -law to Anita McNichol and mother-in-law to the late Jackie McNichol.

Anne was predeceased in death by her beloved husband Louis J. McNichol.  Together they are blessed with three loving children, the late: Louis Joseph McNichol Jr. (Cecilia “Terry”) of Moneta, VA, Charles Frances McNichol (Marie) of Kintnersville, PA and Laura Jeanne Fleck (James) of Kintnersville, PA.  Together Anne and Louis had enough love to share with more than ten foster children through Social Catholic Services in the 1960’s.

Anne is the proud grandmother of fourteen grandchildren: Tina Rowlett (John) Burke, VA,  Michelle Donovan (Tim) Collegeville, PA, Sean McNichol (Sandy) Upper Black Eddy, PA,  Nicole Ventesca (Anthony) Doylestown, PA, Heather Eller (David) Coopersburg, PA, Faith Housworth (Jim) Riegelsville, PA, Ryan McNichol (Dayna) Springtown, PA, Colleen Hicks (Steve) Bedminster, PA, Carissa Alleva (Gustavo) Towson, MD, Regina Fleck-Rader (Paul) Rockville, MD, Amanda McNabb (John) Towson, MD, Anthony, Joseph and Leighana Fleck of Kintnersville, PA.

Anne graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School, class of 1939.   Anne married Louis, the love of her life at St. Charles Borromeo, Bensalem in 1942.  Anne held several employment positions throughout her life as School Teacher, Nurses Aide and in retail at John Wanamaker department store.

Anne was a loving wife and mother. She was a longtime dedicated member of St. John the Baptist church in Ottsville, PA where she pilgrimed to sites of Rome Italy, Lord’s France and the Holy Land.  Anne was a member of the Altar Rosary Society, an active pro-life supporter, a Minister to the homebound, a member of the Legion of Mary, Catholic Charismatic Prayer Group as well as the American Legion Auxiliary.  Fatima House held a place deep in Anne’s heart as she professed her vows as a Lay Apostolate.

Anne was immensely proud of her family, dedicating her life to her husband, children and later in life grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, loving her role as “Nana”.  It was always Anne’s gentle way to give a handwritten note or card of wonderful wishes and prayers for special people in her life.

In Anne’s free time, she enjoyed fishing alongside her family, be it with her brother or grandchildren.  She especially enjoyed cheerleading the athletes in her family.  She liked sewing, reading, gardening, crocheting (baby booties), painting, riding her golf cart and animals, especially “Hopie” who spent most of her time by her side as they relaxed in the easy chair looking out toward the pond at God’s beautiful creation.

Lastly, Anne will always be remembered for her quick wit, generosity, advocacy, enjoyment of celebrating life with others and her undying desire for us all to grow deeper in relationship with God. ~
