It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margaret “Carol” Kane, who left this world on May 30, 2025, at the age of 73. Born January 18, 1952, Carol was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and a beloved sister and friend.
Carol shared 54 years of marriage with her husband, Kevin. Together, they built a life filled with countless memories. Carol's warmth and kindness extended to her son, Patrick, and his wife, Kristina, who were blessed to have her unwavering love and support.
As a grandmother, Carol found immense joy in her grandsons, Timothy and Eldan. She delighted in their accomplishments and cherished every moment spent with them. Her legacy of love will undoubtedly live on in their hearts.
Carol was also a beloved sister to Sharon (Tom), Kathie (Bill), Aubert and Mary, who will forever hold dear the memories of their shared laughter and support. She treasured her nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends, all of whom were touched by her generous and kind spirit.
Carol's life was a testament to the power of love, kindness and family. In 2020, Carol and Kevin retired to Aiken, SC where Carol designed her dream home at Woodside Plantation and instantly developed life-long friendships with numerous neighbors who consider each other ‘family’. She had the ability to make everyone feel special and valued. Whether it was through her thoughtful gestures or her listening ear, Carol left an indelible mark on the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
As we remember Carol, let us celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the love she shared. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her family and friends, reminding us to cherish each moment and to love deeply.
A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Carol's life, details of which will be shared with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mayo Clinic in Carol's name.
Margaret Carol Kane will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
