Jody Duane Woods
October 31, 1963 - June 17, 2025
Jody Duane Woods, 62, passed away peacefully at home in Lutz, Florida, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Lebanon, Oregon, on October 31, 1963, Jody’s final days were spent surrounded by love, comfort, and family that he cherished.
Jody lived a life defined by adventure, integrity, and unwavering devotion to those around him. For 32 years, he proudly ran JW Produce Company in Delavan, Wisconsin, where he forged lasting relationships and built a legacy rooted in hard work and heart.
A devoted husband, father, papa, brother, and friend, Jody was the kind of man who could fix anything- whether it was a broken appliance or somebody’s bad day.
Jody was the kind of guy who showed up for his family, his friends, and anyone who needed a hand. He loved hosting family cookouts, fixing whatever needed fixing, and turning everyday moments into something special. He enjoyed cheering on the Green Bay Packers and had a soft spot for “Abracadabra” by the Steve Miller Band - a song that will forever bring a smile to those who knew him best.
Jody is survived by his beloved wife, Michelle Woods; his mother, Joyce Jaques; his sons, Kyle Woods (Karina), Kaleb Woods (Alyssa), his fur baby Jasper; his adored grandchildren, Kaden, Kennedy, Aria, Ayva, and Koa Bear Woods. He is also survived by his siblings Dana Heath (Mike), Darla Hinkemeyer (Jay), Jeree Woods, and David Jaques (Amy).
Jody will be remembered for his strength, his humor, his selflessness, and the love he gave so freely. To know Jody was to love him - and to be loved by him was a blessing beyond measure.
A celebration of Jody’s life will be held at 1710 Randolph Road, Janesville, Wisconsin 53545, at a later date to be announced.
