Judith Elaine Chambers passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 4th, 2025 in Scottsdale, AZ. Judy was born November 4, 1942 to Charles and Betty Norling in Youngstown Ohio. She is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd S Chambers in 2008 and her son Lloyd (Chuck) C Chambers in 2011. Judy is survived by her daughter Kimberly DelBarto (Stephen), 6 grandchildren Connor and Mackenzy DelBarto, Corey (Hannah) Chambers, Chase (Olivia) Chambers, Coleton (Sydney) Chambers and Cassandra (Brendan) Ebersole. She is also survived by 6 Great Grandchildren.
Judy grew up in Youngstown Ohio and went to college at Ohio State University which she was a huge fan of the Buckeyes and always made sure everyone knew that. After college she was very proud to have been a stewardess for United Airlines, and she had many stories about her time as a stewardess - especially the one when she did the charter flights for the Chicago Cubs! She met Lloyd while as a stewardess and it was love at first sight for them both. They got married in 1965 in Chicago and later moved to Phoenix, AZ. She helped Lloyd build a successful insurance agency. Judy and Lloyd loved to travel the world and made sure they did it frequently. Her favorite place to be was on a beach somewhere - especially Maui.
She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, gramma, grammy and friend to so many. She also had a wonderful church family. She loved to laugh and joke, and she always had a smile on her face.
Some people live an entire lifetime and wonder if they have ever made a difference - she didn't need to wonder. She was a very kind classy lady that was an amazing person.
She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Lloyd at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix.
A memorial gathering will be held Saturday July 26th 1pm at 5110 W Union Hills Dr, Glendale, AZ 85308
Thank you to Dignity Hospice for their kind support and help to keep her comfortable in her last months.
