Emily Ann Mims, age 34, of Stockton, California, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 11, 2025.
Born on May 31, 1991, Emily was a sweet and gentle soul whose laughter could light up any room. She was known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. Always ready with a listening ear and a compassionate heart, Emily touched the lives of many. Especially, through her baking, as she would always bake cookies and brownies for her friends.
Emily dedicated her life to caring for others. As a caregiver, she brought comfort and dignity to those she served. She also worked in the fast food industry, where she rose to the role of night shift leader, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues through her strong work ethic, reliability, and kind spirit.
Emily is deeply loved and will be forever missed by her roommate, Andreas; her father, Kenneth Mims Sr.; her mother, Erica Mims-Martin; her brothers, Shaun Mims, Kenneth Mims Jr., Kevin Mims, and Mathew Mims; as well as many extended family members and close friends.
A private service will be held for family and very close friends.
