Ralph Francis Cacace

February 16, 1943 - October 04, 2025

Ralph Francis Cacace Jr, 82, of San Francisco, California, passed away on October 4, 2025.

Ralph was born on February 16, 1943, in New Haven, the son of Ralph Francis Cacace Sr. and Grace (Angiollo) Cacace. He is survived by his sister, Carole (Forbes); daughters, Michele (Greenhouse) and her husband, Pete and Carrie (Blincoe) and her husband, Greg, and; grandchildren, Jacob Greenhouse and Zackary, Brayden, Zoey, and Camden Blincoe. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph.

Ralph found joy in the simple and the extraordinary — from his favorite Lucibello’s pastries to the rush of F1 racing, from the rhythm of The Beatles to the quiet beauty of Japanese and fine art. Kauai, Hawaii, was his sanctuary, a place that reflected his love of life’s natural beauty. He loved watching his grandchildren grow, each one bringing him endless pride and laughter.

In addition to his family, Ralph had a legendary circle of friends. From The Brazen Head crew to the partners-in-crime who took him everywhere from the California mountains to Texas, and from the nights “donating” to the casinos in Reno and Vegas to his time soaking up the good life in North Carolina — Ralph’s friends were there through it all. They sparred lovingly with his stubborn streak, shared plenty of laughter, and stood by him as they all navigated the art of getting older — mostly with grace, occasionally with grumbling, and always with a toast.

Since Ralph’s favorite people are scattered all over the map, the family will celebrate his life privately. To honor him, tell his stories loud, laugh a little too hard, and don’t be afraid to bring up his name — whether it’s over a good meal, a worthy cannoli, a better drink, or just a memory that makes you smile.
