Born in Yeh San, Choong Chung Nam Do, South Korea, he graduated from Kyung Kee High School and Dong Kuk University. He married the love of his life, Jung Sook, on October 27, 1963.
In February 1972, he immigrated from Seoul, Korea to San Francisco, beginning a new chapter for his young family. On February 2, 1976, they settled in Daly City, purchasing their long-time home, where he remained for the rest of his life.
He worked at Bank of America before moving into business ownership with Hollywood Food Center in 1985, eventually retiring in 2003.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Jung Sook; his sons and daughters-in-law, Richard & Diana and Michael & Jieun; and his beloved grandchildren, Tyler, Rebecca, Audrey, and Samantha. He is also survived by his sisters, Aekyung Park and Joanne Song.
His legacy lives on in the family he cherished and the life he built through resilience, dedication, and love.
