Terrie Kahler
Timmy (Tim) Gene Kahler, 61, passed away peacefully on December 15th, 2025. He was born on November 23, 1964, in San Diego, California, to Noble “Gene” Kahler and Bettejean Kahler Pendleton. Timmy was a twin, sharing his early years with his brother, Jimmy Gene. Their mother delighted in dressing them alike, and the sight of the two boys in matching outfits filled the family with joy. Those tender childhood moments became memories the family has cherished for a lifetime.
Timmy is survived by his sister, Terrie Kahler, who loved him deeply and will miss him more than words can express.
He is preceded in death by his father, Noble “Gene” Kahler; his mother, Bettejean Kahler Pendleton; his stepfather, Ray Pendleton; his sister, Connie Jean Kahler; his twin brother, Jimmy Gene Kahler and nephew, Austin Michael Kahler.
Timmy was a loyal friend with a gentle heart. As a child, he was known for bringing home stray animals—puppies, kittens, and even a bird one time—always hoping to give each one a safe place. That compassion stayed with him throughout his life, and it brings comfort to know he is now reunited with his beloved pup, Sonny.
He spent many years as a truck driver, a job that allowed him to do something he truly enjoyed: seeing the beauty of the United States from the open road. Timmy also loved sports and could often be found cheering on his favorite teams, whether it was football, basketball, or baseball.
He will be remembered with love and fondness by all whose lives he touched, and his memory will continue to shine in the hearts of those who loved him.
A celebration of life will be shared once arrangements have been made.
