Hannelore Hildegard Marsh (née Garlipp), 92, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025.
She was born to Erna Helene Garlipp (née Giloy) and Ernst August Ferdinand Garlipp in Idar-Oberstein, Germany on April 26th, 1932.
Hannelore was predeceased by her siblings Elfriede Erna Blazier (née Garlipp) from Copperas Cove, Texas and Ernst Karl Garlipp from Idar-Oberstein, Germany.
Hannelore dedicated many years to the work she loved in the field of gemology. Hannelore’s intellect was matched by her warmth and compassion. She was a loving and deeply cherished mother, a steadfast friend, and a woman of enduring kindness, who fought to ensure that all of her daughters received a college education.
Hannelore’s presence left an indelible mark on all who knew her. She is lovingly survived by her three daughters, Patricia Linda Marsh, Julie Anne Marsh and Lisa Michelle Marsh who will carry her memory in their hearts always. Hannelore will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family in Arizona, as well as by her family in Idar-Oberstein, Germany: Ulrike (née Garlipp) and Herbert Steuer, Sabine Kunzelmann (née Garlipp), Ina Wendler (née Kunzelmann), Robert Kunzelmann, and Ernst-Michael Garlipp, as well as cousins and dear friends.
