Henry Puente

Enrique Puente Jr., also known as "Henry" or "Kique," passed away on April 14, 2026, at the age of 29. He was born on July 3, 1996, and grew up in Escondido, CA.

During his childhood, he enjoyed living on Paula St, playing in the backyard with his little sister and younger cousins, or on the street or sidewalk with his neighbors and friends. Frequently, he enjoyed trips to Tijuana with his grandparents to visit family members across the border. Beginning in his youth, he became a fan of the NFL, MLB, NBA, and especially the WWE; his favorite wrestlers were Rey Mysterio, Eddie Guerrero, and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.  Always known for being a bigger kid, Henry grew up to be much taller and larger than his peers—a trait which made him unique among the crowd.

Henry, the man, was a gentle soul. He regarded everyone he met as an equal, giving them his attention, care, and respect. His warmth was felt through his words, his actions, and his love. He made many friendships throughout his life, indulging in metal concerts, Vegas trips, good food, good beer, and good company. He was known for the many hats and jerseys he wore, including those of his favorite teams: the San Diego Chargers, the Chicago White Sox, and the Los Angeles Lakers.

All his friends, his homies, can attest to his fun nature. He was not only a good friend but also a good brother, son, nephew, cousin, and man.

Henry was also an amazing partner, spending his last years with his longtime girlfriend, Carmen "Cami" Jimenez. They lived together, and enjoyed their daily life and routine as a unit. Together they frequented comedy shows, traveled around California, and visited Sacramento where Cami's family lived. Their time together was a highlight of his life, one he cherished dearly until the very end.

He is survived by his family and friends, who hold his memory, honor his legacy, and carry on his spirit.

In honor of Henry, we ask that anyone reading this take a moment in their day to "Chill" and enjoy the peace and reflection it may bring, as Henry himself often did.

Services were held privately.
